Shibari can involve different levels of intimacy; anywhere from a professional photography session with minimal physical touch, to creating a sacred, connecting space where intimacy is highly present. There is always an aspect of intimacy in shibari, since no matter in what way you’re practicing, there will need to be trust, vulnerability, and safety present.

It is paramount that the people we work with feel safe and respected, and that our session is pleasant and fulfilling for everyone. Therefore, we strive for the utmost level of professionalism in our practice.

Prints

Pictures in the gallery section of the website are available for print, subject to the model’s approval. Prices are provided below for both printing on a regular high-density foam board or an aluminum panel.

As a token of appreciation to the models, half of the profit made on any print is shared with them. Modelling is hard work too!

Boudoir Photoshoots

By elegantly blending boudoir with traditional rope art, we create beautiful and distinctive imagery that is both empowering and liberating. We offer boudoir sessions that are inclusive and welcome all bodies; ropes simply fit all and compliment everyone’s unique splendour.

Posing for boudoir can be daunting, yet alone being tied. As such, we will be happy to discuss every aspect of the photoshoot in detail and let you control how you’d like it to unfold. Also, you’re welcome to bring a friend if it helps you feeling more comfortable.

Fees include post-processing for basic colour editing and retouches. Sessions typically last between 2 to 3 hours.

Lessons

Let’s be honest, shibari just like anything else requires study and practice; yet the learning process can be very enjoyable, even with just the basics. We offer beginner lessons that covers the building blocks of shibari, including important aspects of safety, communication, and consent.

Pricing is $75 per hour for a private lesson in the comfort of your home and tailored to your skill level (up to two students). We also provide group lessons through Honey Gifts’ After Dark Workshops (www.honeygifts.com/after-dark-workshops).

Costumes & Props

You have an art project, event, or as a fellow photographer a photoshoot and would like to make it stand out by incorporating shibari into it? We would be excited to collaborate with you on that. As possibilities are limitless here, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss a general quote.
